The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Route avoids the body shot from Dilbrandt.
Route fires out a quick counter leg kick but Dilbrandt just manages to avoid it.
Route lands with a kick to the ribs.
Route showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dilbrandt.

Route moves into range and clinches up with Dilbrandt.
Dilbrandt working aggressively here.
Dilbrandt wants to stall.
Route lands a body punch in the clinch.
Route presses Dilbrandt against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Route digs a right hand underneath Dilbrandt's ribcage. Dilbrandt let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Dilbrandt has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Route to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Dilbrandt is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Route pulls down on the head and he's put Dilbrandt to sleep! This one is all over!
