Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anni Skystalker (ranked 1705 p4p, 2586 weight class) and Max Holloway (ranked 176 p4p, 249 weight class). Anni Skystalker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Anni Skystalker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of London, Max Holloway!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skystalker on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Holloway. Holloway obviously looking to wear him down.
A thudding body kick lands there by Skystalker!
Skystalker forces Holloway back against the cage and clinches.
Skystalker manages to pull guard.
Skystalker looking for a sweep. Not yet Skystalker, not yet.
Holloway got a little sloppy there for a moment and Skystalker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holloway has managed to get both his arms back between Skystalker's legs - danger averted.
Skystalker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Holloway is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Skystalker.
Skystalker is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Skystalker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holloway is working away from the top position though.

Holloway decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Skystalker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Holloway manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Holloway lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Holloway counters with a stiff right hand.

A nice side step and Holloway releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Skystalker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holloway.

Skystalker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Holloway swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've been informed that Holloway has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Anni Skystalker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skystalker tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Holloway defends well and Skystalker ends up having to push Holloway into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
It seemed like Holloway was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Skystalker swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Holloway counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A little jabbing left from Holloway on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Holloway fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Skystalker on the side of the head.

Skystalker throws an overhand right that lands on Holloway's shoulder, as Holloway tries to avoid the shot.
Skystalker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Holloway is looking to get back to his feet here but Skystalker is keeping cool and he's managed to take Holloway's back.

Skystalker seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Skystalker looking to break Holloway's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Holloway remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Skystalker will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Anni Skystalker will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Skystalker tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Skystalker swings wildly with an uppercut but Holloway uses good head movement to avoid it.
Skystalker tries to work over Holloway's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Holloway breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Holloway counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Skystalker throws a lazy right hand but Holloway sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Holloway throws a big counter head kick but Skystalker avoids it with no problem.

Holloway has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skystalker.
Skystalker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holloway tries to avoid it but Skystalker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holloway to the ground. Holloway escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skystalker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Holloway was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anni Skystalker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Holloway counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Holloway counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Skystalker is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Skystalker is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Holloway's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

and Holloway counters with a nice low kick that buckles Skystalker's knee momentarily.
Skystalker wants to clinch but Holloway slips to the side
and Holloway makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Holloway looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Holloway lands a big head kick that sends Skystalker tumbling to the mat! Holloway takes a step backwards and waves Skystalker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Skystalker is rocked!
Skystalker misses with a lunging right hand
and Holloway counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Skystalker out cold! What a finish! Holloway is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Max Holloway!
Max Holloway tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
