Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maximillian Daugherty (ranked 3322 p4p, 4175 weight class) and Samir Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maximillian Daugherty looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Maximillian Daugherty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Samir Coffey!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coffey gets a clinch.
Daugherty definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Coffey rushes Daugherty and presses him up against the cage.

Coffey stays in close to Daugherty's body and controls the position.
Coffey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daugherty swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Coffey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Daugherty's guard.

Coffey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Daugherty manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Daugherty is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Coffey to keep the fight standing.
Daugherty tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Coffey lands an elbow that stopped Daugherty in his tracks for a moment.

Coffey is trying to control the position but Daugherty postures up.
Coffey is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Daugherty accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coffey is trying to keep Daugherty in close.
Coffey pulls Daugherty in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coffey keeping moving, preventing Daugherty from controlling successfully.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Daugherty stands and steps away. Coffey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Samir Coffey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coffey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
