Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Kovatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emperor Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader has chosen Heresy by Pantera as his entrance music. Emperor Vader has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Kovatch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Emperor Vader!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kovatch closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kovatch lands in his opponent's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vader is on top in guard.
Vader must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kovatch is looking for a triangle but Vader pushes his legs off easily.

Kovatch has his foot on Vader's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vader works his way back into a safe position though.
Kovatch can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vader controls the pace.

Kovatch had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vader is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kovatch Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vader's back instead.

Kovatch is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Vader knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Vader for a finish.

Kovatch doesn't have the hooks in and Vader manages to turn into his guard.
Vader not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kovatch isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Vader stacks Kovatch on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Vader!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Vader decides to stand back up. Vader steps back and let's Kovatch get back to his feet.
Kovatch moves out of range as Vader strikes.
Vader throws a hook to the side of Kovatch's head but Kovatch sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Emperor Vader is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kovatch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vader.
Vader slips a jab and a cross from Kovatch.
Vader feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kovatch sprawling to the canvas! Kovatch rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vader finish him?!

It looks like Bruno Kovatch has been cut.
Vader connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Kovatch is rocked!
Vader circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kovatch tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Vader wins by KO!
