Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Sawyer (ranked 4331 p4p, 4268 weight class) and Shaun Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sawyer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game (Menu Music). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sawyer clinches.
Sawyer throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Sawyer working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Sawyer throws a head punch that misses.
Wallace avoids a wild elbow strike from Sawyer.
A right hand to the body from Sawyer.
A frustrated look appears on Wallace's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Sawyer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sawyer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wallace was well out of range. Poor timing from Sawyer.
Wallace misses the shot to the body.
Sawyer throws a poor cross that misses
and Wallace makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Sawyer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wallace throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sawyer misses with a few strikes there.
Sawyer digs a good body shot into Wallace's ribs.
Nice defenses there by Wallace.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sawyer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wallace blocks the elbow strike.
Wallace is trying to break the clinch but Sawyer is controlling him.
Sawyer misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sawyer tries to work over Wallace's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Wallace jumps guard but Sawyer stands there with Wallace around his waist. Wallace gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Wallace walks into a stiff left hand from Sawyer.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sawyer cracks Wallace with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Wallace falls to his knees and Sawyer doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Johnny Sawyer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
