The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cole darts in and clinches Novakovic up against the cage.
Cole tries a knee to the head but Novakovic blocks it.
Cole is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Novakovic lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Novakovic is leaning against Cole and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Novakovic lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Cole tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Novakovic drops Cole onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Cole is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Novakovic pushes Cole against the cage. Novakovic is working some dirty boxing. Novakovic pushes off with a quick right hook! Cole goes down! Cole tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Novakovic moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
