Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Waters (ranked 4069 p4p, 4572 weight class) and Shintani Koji (ranked 423 p4p, 0 weight class). Koji has chosen TRIPLE V x VERSO - МЛАД ЩЕ УМРА as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dwight Waters has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwight Waters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shintani Koji!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Koji in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Koji circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Waters to the canvas! Waters doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Koji keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shintani Koji!
After winning the bout, Shintani Koji thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
