Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Makhi Snow (ranked 4372 p4p, 4137 weight class) and Huan Wan (ranked 249 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Makhi Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Huan Wan!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wan misses with a double jab
and Snow counters with a solid body kick.
Snow lands a right hook to the body.
Snow closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Makhi Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wan misses with a leg kick
and Snow counters with a thumping low kick.
Snow scores with a nice body kick.
Snow falls off balance throwing a combination
and Wan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Snow feints a jab promting Wan to slip. Snow then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Snow throws a series of punches but Wan avoids them all with ease.
Snow backing away here, and Wan unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Wan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Snow under the eye.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Wan. Snow does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snow was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Wan moves out of range as Snow throws a body kick.

Wan stalks Snow and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Snow's face. Snow staggers backwards, shaken.

Snow really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Snow is breathing heavily.
Wan throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Snow on the side of the head.
Wan throws a series of strikes that have Snow backpedaling.
Snow throws a head kick that Wan semi-blocks.
Snow on the wrong end of a nice hook.

and Wan counters with a one-two to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wan lands with an uppercut that bounces Snow off the cage and back into range.
Snow throws the left hand but Wan avoids the punch easily.
No joy there for Snow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Snow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Snow shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Snow had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Snow takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Snow back to the cage. Wan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Snow might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Wan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wan.

Snow fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wan.
Snow looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Huan Wan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Huan Wan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
