Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lil Jon Jones Ii (ranked 4346 p4p, 4718 weight class) and Night Fright (ranked 247 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lil Jon Jones Ii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Night Fright!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fright looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Fright tries to keep at a distance but Jones Ii has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jones Ii pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fright is keeping the position for now.
Jones Ii working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fright not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fright escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones Ii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jones Ii wants to pass the guard but Fright is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fright had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones Ii defends it easily.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Fright seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jones Ii throwing strikes but missing.
Fright preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones Ii will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jones Ii really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A close round but Night Fright will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jones Ii shoots in looking for a takedown but Fright manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones Ii's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Fright has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones Ii uses from the top position.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Fright jumps guard and drags Jones Ii to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Night Fright showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Night Fright is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jones Ii throws a head punch that misses.
Jones Ii goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fright prevents it.

Fright is pushing Jones Ii up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jones Ii has Fright pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Fright manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jones Ii drops down looking for an ankle pick but Fright pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fright has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fright drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jones Ii gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fright effectively controlling the action here.

Jones Ii is trying to drag Fright to the mat but Fright just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fright is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Jones Ii misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones Ii tries for a takedown but Fright manages to get underhooks.
Fright stalling the fight.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fright takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
A head punch on the inside from Jones Ii fails to land.
Fright is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Night Fright.
Jones Ii throws a low kick but Fright avoids it.

Fright pushes Jones Ii up against the cage in a clinch.
Night Fright seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Jones Ii misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fright.

Fright gets control of Jones Ii's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fright will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Night Fright comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Fright winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
