The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avit throws a series of punches but Miller moves out of range.
Avit wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance.
Miller connects with a high kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Avit tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Avit takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Avit fails with an attempt to clinch.
Miller lunges at Avit with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Avit's hand.

Avit throws a series of strikes that have Miller backpedaling.
Miller lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Avit backs up against the cage.
Avit stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Kid Miller has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Avit uses from the top position.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Miller had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Avit is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Miller Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Avit's back instead.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
