Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Turkelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vegard Bjorneset (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Turkelton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vegard Bjorneset!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bjorneset lands with a nice body punch.

Bjorneset moves in looking to clinch but Turkelton pushes him off.

Turkelton closes the distance and clinches up with Bjorneset, looking for a takedown. Turkelton pushes Bjorneset against the cage but Bjorneset circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Turkelton shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Turkelton showed some decent athleticism there.

Turkelton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bjorneset's guard.
