PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Bryant (ranked 4022 p4p, 4143 weight class) and Vee Eight Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Leandro Bryant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong looks to clinch
and Bryant counters with a two punch combo.
Bryant throws a head kick that Armstrong semi-blocks.

It looks like Vee Eight Armstrong has been cut.

Bryant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Armstrong is pushing Bryant's head away, looking to escape. Bryant manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryant is looking to take a break and control but Armstrong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bryant is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Armstrong will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

It looked like Bryant was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Armstrong.
