PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Pitosaurus (ranked 4274 p4p, 4126 weight class) and Diaper Donnie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donnie tries to keep at a distance but Pitosaurus has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pitosaurus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Donnie just stands there and leans against the cage.
Pitosaurus wants a takedown.

Pitosaurus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Donnie turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That kick from Donnie tenderised Pitosaurus's leg. Pitosaurus is trying to keep his angry face on.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Donnie lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pitosaurus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pitosaurus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Donnie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Donnie doesn't manage to clinch there - Pitosaurus circles away.
As Donnie looks to move away, Pitosaurus throws a big counter combo but Donnie just gets out of the way.
Donnie throws a sloppy head kick and Pitosaurus moves out of range easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pitosaurus darts in looking for a takedown but Donnie gets double underhooks and turns Pitosaurus into the cage.

Donnie feints and then cracks Pitosaurus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pitosaurus down.
Donnie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Donnie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Donnie bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Pitosaurus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Donnie, pushing him back against the cage.

Pitosaurus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Donnie gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Pitosaurus jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Donnie walks away with a smile on his face. Pitosaurus gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Donnie feints and then cracks Pitosaurus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pitosaurus down.

Pitosaurus looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Pitosaurus avoids the head kick by Donnie.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pitosaurus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Donnie - the referee stops the clock and Pitosaurus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Donnie. Pitosaurus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Pitosaurus shoots for a double leg takedown but Donnie sprawls well. He's pushed Pitosaurus's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Diaper Donnie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
