Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Elvis Milissis (ranked 2070 p4p, 1170 weight class) and Dan Gable (ranked 177 p4p, 107 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elvis Milissis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Gable!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Milissis slaps away a takedown attempt from Gable, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gable shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Milissis tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gable manages to move to mount!
Milissis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gable on the ground.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gable working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Milissis takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gable lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Milissis wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Gable has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Milissis taps furiously! This one is all over!
