Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Fezzik (ranked 2761 p4p, 1615 weight class) and Jacques Pierre (ranked 343 p4p, 199 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hassan Fezzik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fezzik throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fezzik scores with the left hand. Pierre knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Jacques Pierre has been cut.
Fezzik throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pierre stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fezzik connects with a right hand. Pierre shakes it off.
Fezzik looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fezzik throws a series of punches but Pierre moves out of range.
Fezzik throws a body shot but no joy.
Pierre is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fezzik with a body shot.

Pierre swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fezzik thuds his right hand into Pierre 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pierre takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Fezzik turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Pierre shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Fezzik tries to bum rush Pierre with a series of wild strikes but Pierre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pierre needs to keep his hands up - Fezzik had a free shot at his head there.
Fezzik is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Sloppy strikes from Fezzik. Those never looked like landing.

and Pierre connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fezzik looks to land a right hand but Pierre moved out of range.
Fezzik throws a lazy right hand but Pierre sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fezzik catches Pierre with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Fezzik connects with a right hand. Pierre shakes it off.
Fezzik throws a looping overhand right but Pierre ducks down to avoid it.

Fezzik lands a left and a right that send Pierre crashing to the mat, dazed. Fezzik thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The cut above Jacques Pierre 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierre slips a jab and a cross from Fezzik.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pierre ! But no joy.
Pierre gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fezzik.
Fezzik ducks right into an uppercut from Pierre .

Hassan Fezzik's cut is getting worse.
Fezzik fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pierre lands a big right hand that sends Fezzik crashing to the mat! Pierre stays standing though and waves Fezzik back to his feet!

Fezzik throws a hook but Pierre blocks it.
Pierre misses with a looping left.
Pierre takes a swing at Fezzik's ribcage but misses.

Oooooh!!! Pierre has knocked Fezzik down with a huge combo! Pierre steps away and waves a wobbly Fezzik back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Fezzik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hassan Fezzik's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fezzik scores with a hook to the body. Pierre takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fezzik seems to have got his legs back now.
Pierre misses with a body shot.
Fezzik throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Fezzik lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jacques Pierre 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pierre throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fezzik misses with a wild combination.
Fezzik scores with a nice right hand.
Pierre keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Pierre drops Fezzik with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fezzik looks back up at him and smiles so Pierre waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pierre fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fezzik manages to avoid it.
Pierre misses with an uppercut. Fezzik saw that one coming.
Pierre throws a hook but Fezzik blocks it.
Fezzik appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Pierre misses with a straight left.
Fezzik uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pierre .
Pierre paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Jeez, Hassan Fezzik's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
