Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Burns (ranked 4000 p4p, 4277 weight class) and Kichiro Hironaka (ranked 418 p4p, 444 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hironaka fails with the takedown
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hironaka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Burns counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kichiro Hironaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Andreas Burns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kichiro Hironaka.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burns. Hironaka does a little dance to reset his feet.

Burns throws a big counter combination but Hironaka scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Burns loads up on a big right hand but Hironaka slips the punch.

Burns throws a monster overhand right that drops Hironaka! Burns follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
