Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Stockton (ranked 2260 p4p, 2383 weight class) and Osvaldo Leandro (ranked 273 p4p, 286 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Stockton.
Leandro takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Stockton swinging wildly here.
Leandro turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Stockton lands with a right hand.
Stockton throws a jab when Leandro was well out of range.
Leandro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Leandro looks to score with a jab to the body but Stockton is just out of range.
Stockton looks for a takedown but Leandro sprawls well.

Leandro swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Stockton.
Stockton seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Stockton sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Stockton tries to bum rush Leandro with a series of wild strikes but Leandro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Leandro lands with a kick to the temple. Stockton shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Stockton lands a right hook to the body.
Leandro lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A quick step to the side and Stockton tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leandro buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A jab from Stockton finds it's way through Leandro's defenses.
Osvaldo Leandro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stockton throws a series of punches but Leandro moves out of range.

Stockton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Stockton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Oh Stockton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leandro lands a brutal head kick. Stockton looks out on his feet and Leandro throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
