Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontana tries to clinch but Van Dammed is having none of it.
Fontana getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Fontana shoots in and drives through. Van Dammed sprawls well.
Fontana ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fontana looks for a takedown but Van Dammed sprawls well.
Van Dammed stuffs the takedown attempt from Fontana. Fontana gets slowly back to his feet.
Nyrkki Kyllikki Van Dammed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Fontana.
Fontana fails with a takedown attempt.
Fontana fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Fontana tries to keep at a distance but Van Dammed has taken the fight into the clinch.
Van Dammed pulls Fontana into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Van Dammed is on top in guard.

Van Dammed stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fontana swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fontana preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fontana looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Van Dammed is defending well. Fontana quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Van Dammed has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Fontana celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
