The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Kovacs attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Trejo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Trejo takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kovacs keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Trejo.
Kovacs lands a jab-cross combination.
Left hook, right uppercut from Kovacs.
Trejo with a nice calf kick.
Kovacs's corner calls for a 1-2. Kovacs obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kovacs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trejo.
Kovacs throws a hook but Trejo avoids it easily.

Trejo lands a big head kick that sends Kovacs tumbling to the mat! Trejo takes a step backwards and waves Kovacs back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Trejo drops Kovacs with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kovacs! Trejo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
