Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vladi Sheremecki (ranked 4440 p4p, 4381 weight class) and Andrew Callaghan (ranked 299 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladi Sheremecki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladi Sheremecki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Callaghan!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sheremecki sprawls well. Sheremecki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Callaghan gets slowly back to his feet.
Callaghan lands with a nice combination. Sheremecki backs away looking to recover.

Callaghan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Callaghan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sheremecki is trying to maintain the position but Callaghan is very close to passing his half guard.

As Callaghan looks to move away, Sheremecki throws a big counter combo but Callaghan just gets out of the way.

Sheremecki looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Callaghan feints and as Sheremecki raises his hands in defense, Callaghan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladi Sheremecki will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looked like Sheremecki was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sheremecki, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
