The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov throws out a loose jab but Bond uses good head movement to avoid it.

Petrov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bond.
Bond buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Petrov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bond - the referee stops the clock and Petrov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bond. Petrov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

As Petrov backs away, Bond returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Bond looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Petrov throws a hook to the side of Bond's head but Bond sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bond lands a leg kick that knocks Petrov off balance momentarily.

Bond ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrov moves away.
Petrov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bond.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Petrov 's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Petrov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bond has got the better of the exchanges.
