Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Parker James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuanchen Kangtang!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kangtang!

James decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Kangtang fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging James to the ground. Kangtang is now in James's guard.

James manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

James is trying to trip Kangtang. He has hold of a leg but Kangtang is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. James persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Kangtang wants to get back to his feet but James passes into half guard.

James is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kangtang is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
