Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Genyo Takeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tommy Wilander!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilander wants to clinch.
Wilander stalks Takeda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Takeda's face. Takeda staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Genyo Takeda has been cut.
Takeda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wilander.
Wilander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takeda is fending him off so far but Wilander persists. Nope, Takeda circles away and we're back to standing.
A jab lands there for Takeda.
Takeda lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Takeda throws a series of punches but Wilander avoids them all with ease.

Genyo Takeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Wilander.

Takeda connects with a body shot that sends Wilander's belly button to the back.

Takeda definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Takeda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Takeda wants it to stay on the feet.
Nice jab there from Takeda.
Takeda lands a big right hand that sends Wilander crashing to the mat! Takeda stays standing though and waves Wilander back to his feet!
Wilander is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilander gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Takeda counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
