Wilson's entrance music is I Stand Alone - Godsmack. A fine choice. Lucas Wilson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lucas Wilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathanial Burch!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson steps into range and cracks Burch with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Burch flops backwards and Wilson dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Nathanial Burch has been cut.
Wilson won't allow Burch to sweep him here.
Wilson pushing down on Burch's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Burch is looking for a sweep. Wilson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Burch looks winded!

Wilson seems to be looking for submissions.
Wilson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Wilson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wilson is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Wilson thows a huge punch but Burch dodges it nicely.

Wilson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Burch is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard.
Wilson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wilson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Burch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wilson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Burch has managed to free his arm - good work.
Burch wants to control but Wilson passes into side.
Wilson in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Wilson happy to just control the position for now.
Wilson passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Burch!
Wilson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
BOOM! Wilson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Wilson misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Wilson wants to finish this one by submission but Burch is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wilson.
Burch is in all sorts of trouble here.

Wilson unloads with some shots from mount but Burch bucks and avoids them well.
Burch tries to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.

Wilson has hold of Burch's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Burch manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Burch is wriggling around trying to escape.
Burch is still trying to improve position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wilson throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Burch because Wilson loaded up on that one.
Burch is squirming around, avoiding Wilson's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burch is controlling an arm, preventing Wilson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Burch is trying desperately to improve position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burch can do anything to dispel that myth.

Burch tries to control the position but Wilson now has his back.
Wilson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Burch.

Wilson is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Burch is defending well though. Wilson let's go of the attempt for now.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Wilson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Burch on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Wilson misses the shot to the body.

Wilson waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Burch. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Burch to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Wilson advances to half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Wilson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilson uses his free foot to push down on Burch's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Burch.
Burch looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Wilson trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Burch doesn't escape.
Burch is keeping busy.
Burch is breathing heavily.

Burch wants to control his opponent's hands but Wilson gets his hands free.
Burch prevents Wilson from getting a body triangle.
Wilson punches the canvas rather than the man.
Wilson controls the position.

Wilson looking to break Burch's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Burch remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wilson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Wilson scores with punches from the back.

Wilson is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Burch defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Wilson throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Burch!
Burch is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Burch trying to get back to his feet but Wilson is in full control for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Burch throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Burch takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wilson lands a nice looking body shot.
Wilson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Burch can do to turn this around?
Wilson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wilson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Burch is trying to defend but Wilson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wilson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Burch is looking to improve his position.
Wilson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Burch!
Burch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Wilson trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Wilson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Burch's face.
Wilson lands a big shot there that rocks Burch but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Burch wants to hold on but Wilson pushes him away.

Burch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Lucas Wilson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wilson loads up with a big shot that hurts Burch! He's pulled Wilson in close but Wilson has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Burch survive? More strikes from Wilson and Burch is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
