Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Siale Veainu (ranked 709 p4p, 1180 weight class) and Rickson Caceres (ranked 87 p4p, 133 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caceres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Veainu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Veainu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Caceres, pushing him back against the cage.
Caceres is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Veainu to keep the fight standing.
Caceres is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Veainu is keeping busy.
Caceres jumps guard but Veainu stands there with Caceres around his waist. Caceres gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Veainu breaks from the clinch.

Veainu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Caceres's hands.

And Caceres tries to counter it with a takedown but Veainu pushes his down on his head and steps out.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Caceres is defended easily by Veainu.
It looked like Veainu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Caceres seems to have recovered his senses.

Caceres has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
