The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Downey has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Derek.
Downey definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Derek let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Derek enables Downey to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Derek manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
