Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joel Osmond (ranked 856 p4p, 1098 weight class) and Suga Diabeetus (ranked 105 p4p, 139 weight class). Suga Diabeetus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suga Diabeetus!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osmond scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Osmond misses with a lunging right hand
and Diabeetus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Joel Osmond has been cut.
Diabeetus blocks the body kick.
Diabeetus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Diabeetus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Osmond.

Diabeetus lands a big right hand that sends Osmond crashing to the mat! Diabeetus stays standing though and waves Osmond back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Osmond looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A little jabbing left from Diabeetus on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Osmond misses with a series of wild punches.
Joel Osmond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Osmond looks to throw the jab but Diabeetus is out of range.
Osmond ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Osmond misses with a double jab
and Diabeetus counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Osmond shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Diabeetus pinned against the cage. Diabeetus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Osmond cracks a nice hook into Diabeetus's ribs.

Osmond shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Diabeetus's guard.

Osmond with a flurry of punches that miss.
Diabeetus working a defensive guard but Osmond manages to pass into side control anyway.
Osmond trying to control the position but Diabeetus is working away.
Osmond working the ground and pound but Diabeetus is defending the strikes.

Osmond working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Diabeetus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Osmond. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Osmond is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Diabeetus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Osmond tries to score with some ground and pound. Diabeetus controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Osmond is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diabeetus is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Osmond has hold of Diabeetus's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Diabeetus tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Osmond cranks the arm and Diabeetus screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Diabeetus, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
