Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hercules Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baekjae Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim has chosen CANON in D Korean Version (with gayageum) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hercules Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Baekjae Kim!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kim manages to avoid it.
Steel misses with a looping left.
The fight stays on the outside here - Steel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kim sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Steel connects with a looping right hand.
A bone on bone clash there as Steel blocks the leg kick.

Kim shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steel's guard.
Steel has momentary wrist control but Kim slips an elbow through the middle.
Kim controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kim pushing down on Steel's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Steel has hold of Kim's hands but Kim slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kim is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Steel has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kim works his way into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Steel is not content to let Kim control the position.
Kim works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Steel is looking for a sweep.

Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kim trying to control the action but Steel is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steel taking punishment in the form of punches.

Kim has hold of Steel's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Steel seems comfortable defending it but Kim has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Steel is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Steel is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kim couldn't care less - he's delighted!
