Thayer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Danilov after a bit of a struggle.

Danilov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Thayer sees it coming and defends easily.
Thayer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Danilov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thayer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Danilov has managed to get both his arms back between Thayer's legs - danger averted.

Thayer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Danilov is aware though and is defending well.

Thayer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Danilov defends well.
Danilov tries to free his leg and advance position but Thayer is retaining full guard.

Thayer looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Thayer is really struggling to control Danilov but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Danilov is not content to let Thayer control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thayer is just content to waste time from the top position. Danilov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Danilov has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Thayer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Danilov has tightened it up now! Thayer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ruslan Danilov really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hawaii Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
