The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apuro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Le Mans was well out of range. Poor timing from Apuro.
Apuro throws a shot from downtown. Le Mans moves away and avoids it.
Le Mans swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've been informed that Le Mans has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Apuro swings for the body but Le Mans moves out of range.
Apuro avoids a punch combination nicely.
Le Mans takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Apuro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Le Mans's head backwards.
Le Mans is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Le Mans tries a head kick but it misses.
Apuro feinted with a counter takedown.
Le Mans walks into a left hand.
Apuro blocks a head kick by Le Mans.
Le Mans moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Le Mans is rocked!
Le Mans walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Le Mans limp body while Apuro jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mursk Apuro!
