The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries a head kick but it misses.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jae Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A frustrated look appears on Lewis's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Lee fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lewis checks it well.
Lewis tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.
Lewis throws out a loose jab but Lee uses good head movement to avoid it.
It looked like Lee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lee throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lewis counters with a stiff right hand.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Lewis tries to counter with a clinch but Lee shakes him off and moves away.
Lewis looks to land a combination. Lee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lewis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lewis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Lewis persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
Lewis shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Lewis keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lee wants to slow Lewis down by chopping away at his legs.

Lee rushes Lewis and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Lewis is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Lee piles on the pressure and Lewis crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
