The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Souza keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Souza fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Duffe sprawls well initially but Souza persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Souza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duffe manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Souza has Duffe in his guard.

Duffe has his foot on Souza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Souza works his way back into a safe position though.

Duffe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Souza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Duffe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Souza's back instead.

Duffe utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That was a close second round but I would say that Vitor Souza will probably get the nod.
