The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rengazi shoots in looking for a takedown but Wanjiku manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rengazi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It seemed like Wanjiku was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rengazi walks into a jab.
Rengazi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.
Wanjiku keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Wanjiku closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rengazi can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faizul Rengazi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rengazi wants to take the fight to the mat but Wanjiku manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Wanjiku lands a hook that snaps the head of Rengazi backwards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Still in the clinch, Wanjiku scores with a nice short uppercut.
Wanjiku lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Rengazi goes for a takedown attempt but Wanjiku pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Wanjiku cracks Rengazi with a left hook right on the temple and Rengazi goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Wanjiku lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Rengazi is OK!
