The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiss misses with a wild combination.
Ortiss fails to land with a series of punches.
Tito Ortiss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ortiss misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ortiss throws a right hand that O Leary ducks under and follows up with a left that O Leary also avoids with ease.
O Leary throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ortiss fails to land with a series of punches.
O Leary throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Ortiss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by O Leary.
O Leary dodges the punch combination from Ortiss.
Ortiss looks gassed!
O Leary lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ortiss takes a step back to recover.
O Leary tries a head kick but it misses.
O Leary feints and then cracks Ortiss's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ortiss down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

O Leary drops Ortiss with a left right combo! O Leary follows him down to the ground into side control.

Ortiss is rocked!

It looks like Tito Ortiss has been cut.
O Leary controlling from side mount.
Ortiss is still in real trouble! Can O Leary finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
O Leary scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Ortiss is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and O Leary can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
