The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chowder lands a high kick!

Chowder instigates a clinch.
Chowder keeps control of Hoo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hoo is trying to break free.

Chowder breaks from the clinch.
Hoo throws a looping overhand right but Chowder ducks down to avoid it.
Chowder dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hoo. That did some damage!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chowder is defended easily by Hoo.
Hoo looks to throw the jab but Chowder is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hoo. Chowder does a little dance to reset his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hoo swings widly with a right hand

and Chowder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Hoo swings wildly with an uppercut but Chowder uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hoo throws a head punch that misses.

Chowder successfully pulls guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chowder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chowder has his feet on Hoo's thighs here. He's pushed Hoo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hoo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
