Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Shaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almeida comes to the ring accompanied by Inner Circle - Bad Boys. Shaver has chosen Terminator as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shaver sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shaver gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
so Almeida counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Almeida missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Almeida drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Shaver dives on top into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Shaver takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shaver connects with a nice short shot to Almeida's temple.
