Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Clanton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Jacobs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ike Clanton!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Clanton pinned against the cage. Clanton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Clanton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jacobs drops back looking for a leg! Clanton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clanton manages to kick Jacobs off! Jacobs jumps back into Clanton's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Clanton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jacobs with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jacobs wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clanton, who protects the arm well.

Jacobs looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Clanton is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jacobs wants to finish this one by submission but Clanton is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jacobs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clanton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Clanton has closed the distance and engaged Jacobs in a clinch.
Jacobs tries for a takedown but Clanton manages to get underhooks.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Clanton connects with a nice short shot to Jacobs's temple.

Clanton is looking to take a break and control but Jacobs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jacobs is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Clanton's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Clanton's back!

Well Clanton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
