Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Ridley (ranked 1285 p4p, 1533 weight class) and Xavier Knight (ranked 147 p4p, 170 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley lands a slapping body shot.
Ridley connects with a right hand. Knight shakes it off.
A slow jab from Ridley misses its intended target.
Ridley paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ridley misses with a series of wild punches.

Knight decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Knight throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ridley to regain full guard.
Knight lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ridley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Knight manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Knight is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ridley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Knight's head.
Ridley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ridley throws an elbow that misses. Knight uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ridley's guard. Nice move by Knight!

Knight is looking to work some ground and pound but Ridley has wrist control.

Knight pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ridley is keeping the position for now.

Knight stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ridley has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Knight manages to get his head free but now Ridley has transitioned to an armbar! Knight grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ridley! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

A relieved looking Luke Ridley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
