Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bolleke (ranked 19096 p4p, 22293 weight class) and Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolleke tries to clinch up.

Bolleke moves into the clinch.
Lecter lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bolleke backwards.
Bolleke is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lecter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lecter swings wildly with an uppercut but Bolleke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lecter working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
I was talking to Bolleke's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Lecter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Lecter scores with a shot to the side of Bolleke's head.
Lecter lands a shoulder strike.

Lecter manages to break the clinch.
Bolleke doesn't manage to clinch there - Lecter circles away.
Lecter swats away the attempt to clinch by Bolleke.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lecter lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bolleke takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Bolleke is rocked!
Bolleke takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Bolleke tries to clinch up but Lecter circles away and keeps his distance.
A little jabbing left from Lecter on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bolleke fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bolleke is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A low kick lands for Lecter.
Lecter fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Bolleke to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Bolleke looks to clinch but Lecter throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Bolleke taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
