Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fist Maloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacko Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacko Marciano told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marciano tries to bum rush Maloy with a series of wild strikes but Maloy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Maloy dodges the punch combination from Marciano.
Marciano throws a right and a left that Maloy avoids nicely.
Maloy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Marciano misses with the combination.
Maloy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Maloy drives through with a takedown into guard.
Maloy throws and elbow that misses. Marciano uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Maloy's guard. Nice move by Marciano!

Maloy looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Marciano has picked Maloy up and slammed him! Maloy can't keep hold of the triangle and Marciano manages to pass to side control!
Maloy manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Maloy slows the pace down in half guard.

Maloy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Maloy stands up and beckons Marciano to join him on the feet.
Marciano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Marciano swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Maloy counters by moving into the clinch.
Marciano wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Maloy has him pressed against the cage.

Maloy gets control of Marciano's arms and successfully pulls guard. Maloy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Marciano wants to stand but Maloy is controlling his posture from full guard.

Maloy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Marciano's best efforts.

Maloy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marciano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marciano wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Maloy's closed guard. He's half up but Maloy has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Maloy pivots and extends the arm, Marciano falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Maloy! Well done that man!
