Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, whats that aboot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brick Thomlinson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomlinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? aboot is fending him off so far but Thomlinson persists. Nope, aboot circles away and we're back to standing.
aboot doesn't manage to clinch there - Thomlinson circles away.
aboot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
aboot shoots and misses
and Thomlinson counters with a nice double leg into side control. aboot won't be happy with that.
Thomlinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Thomlinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Thomlinson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. aboot knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on aboot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Thomlinson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

aboot manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
aboot is holding on to half guard well.
Thomlinson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
aboot is pressing down on Thomlinson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
aboot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
aboot not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Thomlinson tries to free his leg and advance position but aboot is retaining full guard.
aboot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Thomlinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Thomlinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Thomlinson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thomlinson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Thomlinson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, aboot has managed to free his arm - good work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
aboot is not content to let Thomlinson control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brick Thomlinson dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
aboot shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thomlinson's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Thomlinson holds on and takes a little breather.
aboot drops back looking for a leg! Thomlinson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Thomlinson manages to kick aboot off! aboot jumps back into Thomlinson's guard.
Thomlinson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but aboot is defending well. Thomlinson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! aboot has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Thomlinson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
