The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Schilt sprawls well initially but Jackson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Schilt wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Schilt really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jackson wants to advance to full mount but Schilt doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
