Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thelogos Place!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnsso tries for a takedown but Place sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Johnsso shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Place as he jumps to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Place, as that shot connected.
Johnsso closes this distance looking for a takedown but Place circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joni Johnsso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Place misses with the combination.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnsso looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Place passes into half guard.
Place tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Johnsso tries to get to full guard but Place has control of the leg.
Place wants to stand up but Johnsso has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Place decides to stand and escape the position.
Johnsso fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Place sprawls well initially but Johnsso persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Johnsso frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Place wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Place tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Johnsso jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Place is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Place and Johnsso has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Johnsso is working for a kimura but Place is defending it quite comfortably.
Johnsso is looking to pass Place's guard but actually Place recovers to full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Place manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Place looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Johnsso is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Place's half guard.
Johnsso tries to pass to full mount but Place defends it.

Place is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnsso's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnsso's back!

That's time! Johnsso's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The crowd cheers as Place lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johnsso doesn't seem phased though.
Place connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Johnsso's hands.
Joni Johnsso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Place.
Place connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Place misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Place gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Johnsso to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Place can't keep his opponent in guard - Johnsso advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Johnsso is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Place reverses the position - he's now on top in Johnsso's guard.
Johnsso throws his legs up looking for a submission but Place uses it to pass to side control.
Place tries for a kimura but Johnsso is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnsso wants to improve his position but Place is controlling well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Johnsso is looking for a sweep. Place is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Johnsso takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Joni Johnsso has been cut.

Johnsso needs to keep his hands up - Place had a free shot at his head there.
Place throws a right and a left that both miss.
Place connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Thelogos Place is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Place lands a jab to the nose.
Johnsso has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Johnsso is rocked!
Place connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Johnsso to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Place!
