PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tixarian Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tai Sonni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sonni is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Foo Fighters - Times Like These. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tai Sonni!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kane moves away from the strike by Sonni.
Kane fails to land the takedown.
Kane tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sonni paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sonni lands with a thumping leg kick.

Sonni rushes Kane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sonni escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tixarian Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A lazy left from Sonni finds it's target.
Sonni fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sonni buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kane is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sonni cracks the inside of Kane's front leg.
Sonni lands with a hook. Kane tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tai Sonni is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sonni drops Kane with a naaaaasty hook - Kane is in real trouble here! Sonni dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
