Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bonezzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Chapron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonezzi comes to the cage accompanied by Monster by Skillet. Chapron comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Darude - Sandstorm kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marcel Chapron has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Bonezzi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonezzi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chapron's guard.
Bonezzi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bonezzi distracts Chapron with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bonezzi wants to pass the guard but Chapron is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chapron is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Chapron pushes Bonezzi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Bonezzi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
A lull in the action here.
Chapron is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bonezzi asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jon Bonezzi just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chapron, right into the meat.

A head kick lands from Chapron that sends Bonezzi to the canvas. Bonezzi tries to scramble back to his feet but Chapron brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Jon Bonezzi has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chapron decides to stand back up.
Oh Bonezzi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chapron rushes Bonezzi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Chapron breaks from the clinch.
Bonezzi drops his hands momentarily and Chapron needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Bonezzi just on the top of the head. Bonezzi drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Bonezzi - he's done!
