PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is leroy brown. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Johnson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brown won't be happy with that.

Brown has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Johnson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Brown.

Brown takes the fight into the clinch.

Brown goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Leroy Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Johnson.
Johnson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Brown has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Johnson uses from the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leroy Brown.
