The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Sacks as he connects with a hook.
Sacks closes the distance and clinches up with Ortiz, looking for a takedown. Sacks pushes Ortiz against the cage but Ortiz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sacks is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ortiz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Sacks can't do much from the bottom here.

Ortiz clinches up with Sacks and pushes him back against the cage.

Sacks lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ortiz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Sacks is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ortiz has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sacks is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Ortiz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Sacks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
