Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Blackstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rudd has chosen Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chris Rudd!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackstone tries to clinch but Rudd moves out of range.
Blackstone misses with an uppercut. Rudd saw that one coming.
Rudd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Blackstone tries to avoid it but Rudd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Blackstone to the ground. Blackstone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blackstone tries to clinch there but Rudd circles away.
Rudd tries for a takedown but Blackstone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Blackstone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rudd tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blackstone smiles and moves away.
Bernard Blackstone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Rudd.

Rudd bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rudd has hold of Blackstone's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Blackstone tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rudd cranks the arm and Blackstone screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Blackstone, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
