Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale Ray White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez fails to land the takedown.
White avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gonzalez is defended easily by White.
Gonzalez throws a push kick but White slaps the foot to one side.

No joy there for White, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gonzalez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gonzalez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Gonzalez shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Gonzalez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one.

White leaves Gonzalez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gonzalez tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gonzalez somewhat.

White throws a good cross that connects.

White lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
White is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Dale Ray White seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Gonzalez counters with a single leg into guard. White didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
White just misses with a punch to the body.
White connects with a nice looking jab.
Horrible takedown by Gonzalez or perhaps it was just good defense by White which made him look bad.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez moves in looking to clinch but White pushes him off.
Dale Ray White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzalez. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gonzalez.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dale Ray White showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Gonzalez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense.

Gonzalez swings around for an armbar but White sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gonzalez's guard.

Gonzalez has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though.

White works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Pete Gonzalez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Gonzalez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
White lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

White is trying to control the action in half guard but Gonzalez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well White has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
