Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvacanti shoots in for a double leg but Doolander sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Doolander shoots and misses
and Calvacanti counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Calvacanti.
Calvacanti is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Doolander pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Doolander works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Calvacanti bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doolander's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Calvacanti is going olschool here, as he tries to force Doolander to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Doolander shrugs it off.

Calvacanti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Calvacanti wants to control but Doolander is keeping him busy.
Doolander is trying to improve his position.
Calvacanti swings around for an armbar but Doolander sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Calvacanti's guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Doolander has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Calvacanti to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Doolander is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Calvacanti pulls down on the head and he's put Doolander to sleep! This one is all over!
